You will have a very public life in December, dear Gemini. Almost all of the migrating planets, except Jupiter, have now reached the upper levels of your chart, above the horizon line, so you are sure to be out and about, and the entire world will notice you.

The new moon of November 29 will still color your experiences in early December. A partner seems to have been very vocal lately and not easy to persuade on almost any point. The ancient astrologers call the area of your chart where those transiting planets are found now the house of open enemies. This is a bit of an extreme title for this house – you might say a little more accurately that detractors will be vocal. You may have only one detractor or a whole group of them. How you feel with Saturn opposed to the Sun depends on your recent experiences – by thinking back, you will able to pinpoint who has been giving you pause and who will continue to do so.

That new moon of late last month November 29 was quite friendly. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will send the moon a lovely golden beam from your house of creativity and romance, making for an enchanting time. Mars will send his high-octane energy from your ninth house of travel, international relationships, academia, legal moves, and the media, such as assignments in publishing, broadcasting or the Internet / digital world, or you might be the subject. Neptune will be in hard angle, however, so there are missing pieces of information or a need to make a decision about a business partner / sweetheart / spouse in the face of some ambiguity.

On the ledger for November 29, you have many supportive aspects and only Neptune to give you pause. If you want to know the final outcome of a new or full moon, we always look to the ruler of the new or full moon. This is a new moon in Sagittarius, so Sagittarius’ ruler, Jupiter, will tell the tale of how things work out. Jupiter is beautifully oriented to the new moon, so, try to get the information you don’t have (or that Neptune is obscuring) by digging or asking questions. I should mention here that Mercury will be retrograde from December 19 to January 8. Mercury is your ruling planet so although a weak, sleeping Mercury affects everyone, it will affect you more. We always feel the approaching Mercury retrograde two weeks earlier, so this month that will be soon as December 6. You do have to holiday shop early, or else buy gift certificates. If you go that latter route, be sure to photocopy the card on the front and back, with the bar code in case it gets lost. Be sure you know the store your friend or relative loves to shop in or you will have missed the mark.

You must never sign contracts with Mercury retrograde, or you will have to renegotiate the deal later, again. It is considered very bad to buy electronic items during the retrograde, so you might want to start the month buying those.

Mars will start the month in Aquarius, a holdover from a tour that started November 8. You love the tour of Mars through Aquarius, for it is energizing your international travel house. It’s very possible you will be on a very distant trip to an exciting country based far from yours. Or, you may go to the far other coast of your own country. If you are not thinking about a long trip, you may be on the phone and email with editors, colleagues, or executives abroad, and working on an important project together. The ninth house rules, aside from travel, publishing, broadcasting, Internet, academia, immigration / passport / visa / green card, legal matters, and other intellectual matters.

December 1 will be an exceptional day, when Mars in Aquarius will be in precise 120-degree angle to Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck. This is an aspect of enormous happiness. Saturn will jump in and help you shine, and bring long-range benefits to all you do on this day. If your birthday falls on June 7, plus or minus four days, you will enjoy it even more.

The month is filled with shiny, shimmering days that will light up the night sky and give you lots of reasons for hope. Even though Mercury will be out of phase, you will still have a chance to enjoy December very much.

Someone may criticize your and hurt your feelings, or tell you a certain reality that sounds crushing. You might want to take the part of the advice that is useful and discard the rest.

In this up-and-down week, Monday, December 12, you will find yourself happy again. A friend may again be an asset to you, and if you are traveling together or doing any sort of communication project together, you will do exceptionally well.

This month the full moon will fall in Gemini on December 13 at 22 degrees. Something of enormous importance is coming to fruition within four days of this date. You will have Jupiter and Uranus in ideal angles, so again, pleasure, love, romance, fun, and warm feelings from a sweetheart, spouse, group of friends, your community, or fan base will thrill you. Saturn, however, will conjunct the Sun and oppose the moon. It will be imperative that you take it slow and easy. If you find yourself feeling depressed, it may be because you are overtired.

If your birthday falls on June 14, plus or minus four days, you will feel this full moon the most. The same is true for you if you have Gemini rising, or a natal planet or moon in Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius at 22 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. As you see, the results will be mixed, but you have extraordinary help from Jupiter and Uranus. Taskmaster Saturn will remind you that you are carrying quite a bit of responsibility, and that others are depending on you. You do have the ability to carry on, even if you find your confidence is temporarily shaken. The wonderful quality about you is how fast you bounce back.

This full moon puts Mercury in the lead, and although in weakened retrograde state, Mercury will be conjunct Pluto – and that is one powerful, regenerative aspect. Mercury will be in friendly angle to Neptune, so your creative ingenuity and creativity will show you the answers at the time of the full moon. You see, all is well that ends well.

Gemini of every marital status can count on Venus in Aquarius to keep things vibrant, from December 8 straight through to January 2 – perfect timing for a festive holiday season. Travel will fan the fires of love during the first three weeks, so by all means – do your best to plan a getaway.

The holidays will be extra special this year, with a group of rare and wonderful aspects. This year, Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day, December 25, and Kwanzaa falls, as is usual, December 26. This is lovely! The transiting moon will first be in Scorpio and then move to Sagittarius, the latter being the international sign, linking all people in one universal family of man. Scorpio is a sign of spirituality, belief, and regeneration, so it seems to be fitting to have those signs highlighted.

On December 24, Saturn will be in ideal angle to Uranus, the first of three such meetings that will not occur again until 2047. The next two rare meetings of these two planets will come on May 18 and November 11, a beautiful feature of 2017. The job of Uranus is to look for all that is outworn and no longer relevant to your future, and to sweep it away. Uranus strikes like lightning, but does work with you to build something new. Saturn’s job is always to create lasting structure, so in coming months, because these planets move very slowly, you will be making changes that you like, and that will be in place a long time.

On December 25, Venus, planet of love, affection, and beauty, will meet with Jupiter in your fifth house of romance, and with Uranus, the planet ruling surprises (this time, good ones)! Venus will also work with Saturn, so that the promises you make to the ones you love will be promises to keep, now and forever.

On the day after Christmas, December 26, Mars, by late month in Pisces, will send a missive to the Sun, giving you a great day to hear praise about your work and possible talk about a new professional role for you. If you are self-employed, you may get sensational publicity on this day. On December 30, Neptune, the ruler of your house of fame and honors, will also signal the Sun. The new moon of December 29, plus the ten days that follow in January, will bring an enormous emphasis on money.
