You will need rest, and if you start to feel depressed or overwhelmed, that's the sign you do need to get more sleep. Fortunately, this aspect will deliver a message but then quickly pass.

By Monday, December 12, you will be on top of the world. Uranus, the planet of surprise, now in your sector of earned income, will bring you still more money, for on this day unpredictable Uranus will send golden beams to the Sun. You won't see this news coming, but when it does, it will be exciting for you and make you feel like a million dollars.

While the entire month is mainly about your career and your rising status in your industry, the full moon, December 13 in Gemini 22 degrees, will suddenly switch your attention to your home and family. This full moon will bring mixed messages. On one hand, Saturn will conjunct the Sun, a very difficult aspect, such as you experienced earlier on December 10. Because Saturn moves ever so slowly, it will still be very close to the Sun, but also opposite the full moon. That's a heavy-duty aspect.

As result, over December 13 plus four days, you may be concerned about the health or well-being of your mother or father, or it might be the health of someone you think of as a mother, such as that of a mother-in-law, favorite aunt, or uncle. The powerful planets in your tenth house career sector will still be there at this point in the month, so your horoscope shows a likelihood that you may find it difficult to switch your concentration from professional matters to home-related ones. It might not be that you are concerned about a relative's health, but about a problem with the structure of your house or condo that may need an important repair suddenly.

Still, against this background, on the December 13 full moon, you will have help from Jupiter, the planet that will bring you generous amounts of money all month. At the full moon, the money you get might come from your mother or father, grandmother or aunt, given to you as a gift or loan to help you get started on a rental or purchase of property. Or, it might represent money you receive from an insurance policy as a payout, a new mortgage, or home improvement loan from the bank, as some possible sources.

Mercury will retrograde this month, mainly in your friendship house, from December 19 to January 8. You may be one of the few people who will actually enjoy Mercury retrograde this month, for you will see at least one (or more) persons from your distant past, and thoroughly enjoy trading stories and memories.

Of course, Mercury retrograde does bring its moments, and it may be particularly frustrating to you when you are trying to think of the perfect gift for friends and family. It will be important to shop early in the month, for stores will run short of merchandise. Weather conditions will cause express shipments will run late. Start to buy your electronic items first, and shop as early as you can, for you want to stay a great distance from December 19. We feel the scrambled messages and delays that Mercury retrograde causes two weeks prior to the planet's turn direct, in this case, December 19.

Something else is happening on December 19, this time something mighty special, for on that date, Mars will move into Pisces and put you front and center of all that is happening. You will feel your energy surge and your optimism mount, and sense correctly that soon you will get the green light to work on some of your dearest goals. With Mars in Pisces, you will have no problem getting the attention of VIPs, and you will find important executives will be interested in all you have to say as long as you present an organized plan, and they will offer to help you. Your passion, drive, and courage will be impressive, and you won't take no for an answer, nor should you. That's why so many VIPs will single you out to groom as a star in the making. You've not had Mars in Pisces for two years, but you have Mars to yourself now, for the coming six weeks, so make the most of it! Publicity about your work is likely to turn out to be positive as well.

Now let's talk about the holidays, which are some of the most glittering I've seen in years.

Christmas and Hanukkah will fall on the same day this year, December 25, and Kwanzaa will fall on its fixed date of December 26.

The first stunning aspect falling at holiday time will involve Saturn in alignment with Uranus, December 24. This is no fleeting aspect, but the start of something incredibly exciting. Uranus is known to strike like lightning, without warning, to bring changes you'd never anticipate. You've been dealing with Uranus for a while, and this is the planet responsible for the feast or famine swings in your income over the years since Uranus first entered your earned income sector in March 2011. This month, however, financial news will be thrilling.

Saturn is currently visiting your tenth house of honors and achievement and will work directly with Uranus in a friendly way all through 2017. This day, December 24, will be their first contact. Two more special days will come, on May 18 and November 11. You won't need an exact mathematical alignment to feel the benefits of these two planets collaborating, for both move ever so slowly and will be within orb all year. This is sensational news, for you have not seen anything like this in recent memory. After this year is over, we won't see anything like this alignment of Saturn and Uranus until 2047.

The brilliance of this aspect is that Saturn will help you stabilize your income. You will have more money coming in, so you will be able to pay off loans and build your savings. If you have dipped into your savings in the past when hit with unusual expenses, over the course of 2017, you will be able to repay yourself and add to those savings. Saturn is a planet that helps you think for the long term, and Uranus is the planet of genius that is impulsive, creative, and innovative. How wonderful to have these two planets working together in concert, on your behalf to help you be as creative as you like, knowing Saturn will be there to give your ideas the four legs of a table, to keep things steady.

Now let's turn to December 25, Christmas Day and Hanukkah.
This day has some of the most dazzling aspects I have ever seen on this holiday. Venus will meet with three dignitaries: Jupiter, Uranus, and Saturn. This is remarkable! Venus will receive a golden beam from Jupiter, and this seems to translate into a beautiful, valuable gift that someone who loves you will bestow on you. It might be a piece of jewelry (Venus rules jewelry and all that embellishes), or a cash gift that will allow you to choose whatever you like.

Venus with Uranus is another indication of a gift that will come as a complete surprise, and again, it has to do with the gift mentioned above, a symbol of great love and affection. It will certainly be valuable.

Finally, Venus will meet with Saturn, the conservative planet that will show you that you can save some of the money you receive on December 25 or cherish forever the valuable gift you are given.

As if you needed any MORE evidence that the tides were about to turn in your favor financially, Uranus will go direct on December 29 after having been retrograde since July 29. Back in July, you may have had a setback or had to face a truth that an important project would need more time, money, and refinements to perfect. That frustrating period of continually having to find costly flaws to fix is coming to an end now. You have paid your dues, dear Pisces, and finally the profits and rewards will start to roll in to you now.

On the same day, December 29, a new moon will appear in Capricorn at 8 degrees, putting a punctuation mark on a month that will have been heavily about career, with some focus on family too. The tensions, if you should have felt any during December, will release, for this new moon will allow you to give yourself over to fun and friendship.

By this time in the month, Mars will be in Pisces, and your eleventh house of friendship will be brimming with happy planets. Mercury will still be retrograde, although only for eight more days, but it looks like you will enjoy the softer, gentler atmosphere where you will be able to kick back and exhale, and not be concerned that somewhere someone is looking for you to do something. Relax, dear Pisces.

The eleventh house is not only the house of platonic friendship, but also the house of hopes and wishes. In coming weeks, something you dearly want to happen might - the possibilities are looking so positive that you will be able to grasp that dream!

You have come through a year that allowed you to make a name for yourself, so pat yourself on your back and be proud, for you have worked hard to be where you are today. Saturn, the taskmaster who will teach you how to become a wise and influential leader in your industry, will remain with you in your tenth house of fame and honors one more year, so your professional growth is not even near the end. You are just cranking up.

For New Year's Eve, plan a quiet holiday with friends. Mars will conjunct Neptune, a difficult aspect that indicates that drinking and driving, and texting and driving, will not a good idea, nor would it ever be so! (Neptune is your ruler, and also rules liquor, medicines, and drugs.) Travel by car service if you don't have a friend who wants to be the designated driver of the group. When you do travel, use a seat belt even in the back seat, for you can't be sure that the driver in the car next to yours is following rules.

January will bring lots of fun activity, so don't be blue that the month is coming to an end. That new moon of December 29 will see to it that new friends enter your circle, and that old friends will contact you too in January, and want you to be part of their plans.

If you have a community of people who depend on you or look up to you, your stature within your constituency will grow. You might work on a humanitarian or charitable project next month that brings much applause for a successful fundraiser.

After that, you'll run into low stock, expensive last-minute shipping costs, and the likelihood of storms that will impede delivery of your gifts, preventing them from arriving on time. Mercury rules buying, selling, negotiating, shipping, and travel, and when retrograde, these areas will be negatively affected.

At the last third of December, although the astrological axiom is "Never take a job or start a new venture when Mercury is retrograde," you CAN move on opportunities if they represent a reverting back to a previous relationships, job, or project. See how you feel.

Mars will move into Pisces (a once-in-two year event) on December 19, to stay until January 28. Having Mars in Pisces is a big advantage to you, for Mars will give you courage, determination, and drive to go after a goal that is supremely important to you. It is unfortunate that Mercury will be retrograde during part of the time Mars will be in Pisces, for this may slow your plans, but Mercury will not completely deter you. However, occasionally Mercury retrograde is helpful in that Mercury may bring someone from your past into your life again, and in your case, one or more old friends may suddenly show up and want to reconnect, and you will, too. In this case, Mercury will work to have you fulfill more with a fond, previously formed relationship. This person may appear in your personal or professional life.

Will December be all about work, decisions at home, but no time for fun? No! You will have plenty of time for fun, as you get closer to month's end. Specifically, at the new moon, December 29, you will see life become more vibrant and much lighter and relaxed. The Sun, new moon, Pluto, and Mercury will crowd in your eleventh house of friends, and hopes and wishes, making for a joyous end to 2016 and a bright new beginning to 2017.
