平时我和你们一样，有能力为自己主张权利，但当第一个理赔员说不可以报销之后，我挂了电话就觉得那么茫然无助，开始哭，那时小妈妈还在我家住，问我是不是身体难受，我说不是，保险公司那位女士说不给报销用血费，我妈妈对我说，现在就给她们打电话，你要找回我认识的那个苏珊！那时我身体还很虚弱，觉得自己不够强大到可以捍卫自己，但我到底那么做了，而且胜利了，而且那保险公司是个大公司，你们都知道名字的，有时这一切就是对方员工的个人行为，他们也是人，也会犯错误，总之还是要一直努力试试看，不要放弃！

This is one of those very unusual months where at one point something is clearly going well, then suddenly changes to the reverse and brings tension. This stressful period will happen at the full moon, but will then calm down as quickly as it began to stir things up. This means you will have to be deliberate in planning all your actions, for your aim has to be on target, steady and sure. You need to act on your best periods of the month, and then step aside near the full moon, and then start up again in the last week. This is a high -contrast month, but you can end it sunny side up.

The best part of the month will be the gorgeous new moon that appeared just hours prior to October, on September 30. That new moon is a five-star new moon, entering with dignity and grace, wearing a snow white gown, and gliding in with the mighty Sun, giver of life and strength, to her right, and Jupiter, giver gifts and luck, to her left. All these heavenly bodies will enter in the constellation of Libra in your second house of salary and other earned income. All new moons bring a string of days in which to act, and at this one the golden vibrations will last until October 11.

This will be your very best financial point in 2016 to find ways to increase your steady income, through salary or if you are self-employed, by bringing in more business. Your good fortune won’t likely represent money you win or are given as a gift – this almost certainly will be money you will earn. You must ask for more money to get your increase, or find other ways to bring in the cash, but if you plan your moves, you will be successful. Saturn will be beautifully angled to this new moon, suggesting that getting the raise or increasing your fees will give you confidence and increase your sense of security.

If you work for others, focus on your value to the firm and the contributions you’ve made. If you are self-employed, there’s some indication that you might want to take on a partner to increase fees, or if you are in the arts, to have an agent to represent you. Libra is the ultimate partnering sign, so you might find the ideal person if you ask friends for recommendations and carefully do a search. This won’t apply to every Virgo reader, but I see this possibility, the reason I mention it.

Sometimes an active new moon in the second house indicates you will soon make a large purchase, such as for a house or condo. In this case, you might spend more money than you had originally budgeted, but with Saturn so nicely angled to your second house of income and savings, you are likely to enjoy the purchase of that house. (Saturn is transiting your fourth house of home, the reason I feel you may be buying a house this month.) Why did I say you might spend more than you anticipated? Jupiter enlarges everything it touches: the rooms of the house, the closets, the view, the sunlight – and the price. Your new property will be worth the extra cost.

One day that will deserve five gold stars is October 10-11, when your ruler, Mercury, planet of news, communication, and negotiation, will be conjunct Jupiter, the great good fortune planet. This is an annual event that won’t happen again for a year. Use this day to give you the edge for any purpose – the force will be with you!

Here is the strange part about this month. The full moon, October 16in Aries, will not be helpful and could be downright tension producing. Here you have dazzling aspects to bring in more money, but this full moon might well bring up a sudden expense that jars you. Uranus, the planet of unpredictable events, is conjunct the moon and directly opposite the Sun, to exact degree, from your eighth house of other people’s money. This house rules credit cards, student loans, bank loans, mortgage, refinancing plans, money paid out from insurance companies, taxes, and court settlements, including divorce agreements and the sharing of property after the end of a business. One of these areas is likely to bring sudden news that may prove shocking. This is not a good full moon, so do your best to avoid taking any actions at this time. A full moon is not for a day but for plus or minus four days.

I would not want you to sign any financial paperwork anywhere near this full moon. That is easier said than done – the job of a full moon is to bring closure to talks, and in this case, you will likely be drawn into final talks about money. You will be pressured to agree to something. Know that in astrology, a verbal agreement is the same as putting down your signature. Alternatively you may be given a letter from an insurance company or financial aid office of your university, and feel you don’t have much choice but to accept it. If you feel the offer is unjust, I say file an appeal.

There is one other way the full moon may work out, and that is if you need surgery. You may be saying, what? Surgery? How does that even remotely compute to the house of other people’s money – the eighth house? True, the eighth house rules money from others, and in ancient times, it was legacy money – money that was given as inheritance. This same house was always the house of transformation, and in terms of surgery, the surgeon removes the part of you that is making you sick, so that you can transform and become well again.

The other people’s money part of this eighth house would kick in if you have health insurance, where the insurance company pays for all of your expenses. In this case, you may have to pay part of the bill. You can appeal to the health insurance company to have those costs covered.

I remember after a big, harrowing surgery I had years ago where I had 17 blood transfusions that night (and had died on the table but the doctors obviously got me back), the adjuster asked me months later, “What were you thinking, having all those transfusions? That’s not safe! You should never have that many!” I couldn’t believe my ears. I told her I was under ether at the time, and I certainly needed them. She disavowed the entire cost for all the transfusions, but later, when I called back and got her supervisor on the line, all was covered.

Usually I am like you, able to stand up for myself, but after the first lady said no, after I hung up. I was feeling so overwhelmed, I started to cry. My Little Mom was at my apartment at the time and asked if I was in pain. I said no, this insurance lady was said she was not going to approve the cost of my transfusions. My mother told me to pick up the phone and be the Susan that she knew! I was very weak at the time, and didn’t feel quite strong enough to fight for myself, but I did, and won – and this was a big name insurance company you know, dear reader. Sometimes it just comes down to the individual you have on the other end of the phone. They are human, and they make mistakes. Keep trying and don’t give up.

I feel it is possible you may need medical attention this month for another reason – Uranus is orbiting directly opposite the Sun at this full moon, and the Sun rules your twelfth house of hospitals and areas of confinement. (Areas of confinement include physical therapy centers, rehab centers, nursing homes, and even jail.) You have many indications that you may be mixing with medical personnel, but those interactions may not be for you – it may instead be on behalf of someone near you who needs medical attention, most likely a male. So instead of you, someone close might need a procedure, surgery, or care, and you may be there to help.

To clarify, the Sun rules males, but also points to your own vitality in your chart, no matter if you are female or male. For this reason, I can’t tell if you or a family member will need medical advice. It may be no one! This full moon might instead focus entirely on money, not your health or the health of anyone near you. Whatever comes up will come up suddenly, so make sure that near the weekend ofOctober 15-16 and in the days surrounding it, you have a lighter-than-usual schedule so you can go in any direction.

One more point: Mars will be conjunct Pluto this month, both in Capricorn, a sign that blends perfectly with yours, but Mars and Pluto will be in hard, 90 degree-angle to the Sun; new moon; unpredictable Uranus; pushy, domineering Pluto; and your ruling planet, Mercury. That is quite a set of aspects, but square aspects of 90 degrees force us to be realistic and to immediately attend to a need (yours or that of someone near). We quite literally turn a corner at a square aspect (90 degrees), for we have no other choice. The universe has its ways to get us to keep moving forward and not stagnate.

The good thing about full moons is that they deliver news, and boom, they are done – nothing lingers. We feel released, and we move on immediately. The job of the full moon is to get progress in the area of the chart they light, and they also bring a floodlight of truth too. If you don’t like what comes up, you might devise a plan so that something like this does not come up again, but of course, we cannot control everything in life. Some full moons demand that we be flexible – as a Virgo you are master at flexibility. You are a mutable sign who always has a Plan A, and if that doesn’t work, you have a Plan B, C, or D – you never run out of ideas. That’s why I know you will prove to be resourceful at this time – it’s half the success in life.

You need another special day to look forward to where financial news will be celebratory – that day will be October 24. On this day, gorgeous Venus will send Jupiter in Libra a shimmering beam and get you more money. Do something important on this day – make a presentation, meet with a client, show a creative idea, or hand in a key written document.

Days not to sign papers and not to agree to anything verbally include October 20 and 28, when your ruling planet, Mercury, will be under siege, first from Uranus, and later from Mars.

Mars has moved into Capricorn, so let’s get back to that for a minute. Mars will be in your fifth house of true love for the first time in two years and will work hard to jazz your social life. Mars will give you certain magnetism, and even though as a Virgo you may be shy, you will turn heads, whether you realize it or not! Mars will remain in your romantic house until November 8. While you may be concerned about money due to the full moon, it still would be good for you to get out and mix and mingle this month. Find inexpensive ways to go out with friends, and you will be glad you did.

Also, consider taking a little weekend trip over October 29-30, or take a one-day drive in the country on October 30. You seem to be pulled in several directions this month, and you could use fresh air, sunshine, and time to decompress. A short trip would do the trick to keep you happy and motivated, and the new moon in Scorpio,October 29, will help you go.

I love that Neptune, the planet of dreams and glamour and will be in perfect angle to the new moon, for Neptune is now in your marriage and partnership sector – perfect! This tender new moon in Scorpio,October 29, has love, happiness, affection, and warmth written all over it. What a wonderful time of the month, and the goodness of a new moon will extend for ten days or more.

This new moon in Scorpio is ALSO coming at the perfect time to make Halloween special. Neptune is the planet of imagination, and so if you hope to win first prize at the Halloween party, you had better start sketching your idea early in October and taking your time to create it. This year will be quite a breathtaking year to see outstanding, wildly creative costumes.

If your birthday falls on August 31, plus or minus five days, you will do extra well at this new moon of October 29 and the ten days that follow. The same is true if you have Virgo rising, or the moon, or natal planet in Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn at 8 degrees plus or minus five degrees.

Finally, it’s always fun to see where Venus will be most of the month, and the answer is this month Venus will be in Scorpio, from the start of the month through October 17. Venus in a water sign is always better for you than a fire or air sign, for water and earth go together beautifully. Venus will glide through your short distance travel sector. As you see, before you even get to month’s end, you have Venus helping you have fun on those little trips to close-by towns and cities.

You have hosted Uranus in your eighth sector since 2011, bringing finances on a roller coaster ride, at times making you happy but at other times, not so happy about the state of your cash flow. The coming twelve months should help to change all that, for you are entering your most rewarding financial year ever. The new moon of September 30, coming just one day before the start of October, will start this trend. It will be vital for you to ask for a raise during the first week of October, with your best days October 3 or 4. October 10 will be spectacular too, for Mercury, your ruler, will conjoin Jupiter in Libra in your salary sector. This will be the first time since 2004 that Mercury has conjoined Jupiter in Libra in that area of your chart – use it or lose it.

Still on the subject of money, this time turning to earned income, one of your best days of the month – and possibly the year – will be when your ruling planet aligns with Jupiter in your house of earned income on October 10-11. You may buy, sell, or inherit a house or condo, as it appears your living quarters will receive some of the pixie dust that will be scattered in the financial part of your chart this month. You may have already seen considerable financial opportunity or reward last month, at the end of September, but this month will continue and enlarge this trend. You are not a materialistic soul, but having money will give you options of things to do and possess that you’ve not had before.

Mars has just recently begun energizing your true love sector last month when Mars entered Capricorn on September 27 to stay untilNovember 8. In coming weeks, Mars will give you confidence and power to intrigue others in matters of love. Your mystique is being noticed, and although you may not be aware that you have quite a bit of sex appeal, you will likely be turning heads. If you are looking for love, someone new may appear.

It’s been two years since you’ve had powerful Mars light your love life, so this month will be special for matters of the heart, and you should make an effort to socialize. While it is true that you may see problems with a relationship on October 13, 20, and 28 (discussions about money may be at the core of the discussions), overall, before Mars leaves your romantic sector on November 9, you should see your social life become vibrant and bring lots of fun. You may get invitations to parties too. Neptune rules bodies of water, so choose a place near a lake, a brook, or seashore, and you’ll be set.

Something I did not mention earlier is that this same new moon,October 29, and the days to follow will encourage your imagination in the realm of writing, so put pen to paper, dear Virgo. Your sign excels in communication, so silence your inner critic, and write a poem, start your novel, or put together a treatment for a screenplay. It’s your time to shine and be acknowledged for the ideas that are inside you – be courageous and let them out.
