Last couple of weeks were pretty testing so you’ll be pleased to hear you’ve got some peace to look forward to this week, at least in the early part. Your dealings with people from different backgrounds will go very well or alternatively it may be a global company and your career is looking up now that Saturn is in Sagittarius a fellow fire sign, ensuring more opportunities. 

This week’s energy also augurs well for any legal dealings or welcome educational news along with the welcome breakthroughs at work. 

There may be an article published or a review on Internet or some other kind of “on line” /media breakthrough that brings a smile to your face. You’re feeling good, energetic and perhaps have found yourself a more amenable or secure living environment. Whilst Uranus in Aries continues to force you to continue directing all your attention and energy to what you are doing (and showing you why you must remain adaptable with all your arrangements) you are feeling more optimistic about life in general; and have more reason to. 

With Mercury retrograding in your career and life direction sector you can re-tweak what is not working change where you’re going in life or get a second chance to make a good impression. 

You might be focusing on a creative venture (especially one that is Internet based) or spending time with children and the younger generation. 

Love figures in the picture this week and your social life amps up, as your ruler is quite busy in the skies helping to push your barrow to wherever you want to go.

You’ve had quite a ride over the past few years and your difficulties in general will include people who live at a distance, foreigners, legal and educational matters and anyone with whom you are involved financially. 

There may be tax, loan, inheritance or other financial issues that you are grappling with, or your spouse or business partner (or the person who contributes or funds you in some way) is having difficulties in this regard. Therefore early next week will be very pleasing as there are helpful stars for anything going on behind the scenes and there may be a pleasant surprise. There could be an unexpected money breakthrough or an adversary comes through with a financial opportunity (pays what they owe you for example) or stops pursuing you or ceases to be an issue, which is surprising to say the least. 

Something is being “wrapped up” and completed and you’re determined it will be completed in the way you want (although perhaps not finalized until April). 

Pluto and Neptune are both in favorable aspects this year and you no longer have Saturn in opposition to your Sun so the overall pressure will ease, no matter what the day-to-day issues may be. 

Jupiter will bring opportunities for growth professionally and personally and help with both your finances and your love life in general, however with Mercury in Capricorn in retrograde you’ll be going over old ground. This may be legal, educational or in internet/publishing related matters and especially with foreigners or people at a distance. 

This retrograde can bring delays in travel plans and revisiting old arguments and documentation. 

There is still ‘unfinished business” that still needs to be dealt with, but your life is being transformed for the better. Expect delays for a few more weeks, but you can look forward to material and spiritual good fortune (a great love or a fantastic career breakthrough). 

At the very least, peace at last.

The upcoming year is awash with new ideas and opportunities, although it has to be said that tricky aspects with Neptune and Saturn opposite your Sun can throw some spanners into the works. 

The outcome is all about how you deal with it, especially with Pluto in your transformative house for many years to come. You can make great progress and put your name on the map or have your credibility and reputation tarnished. 

Honesty, transparency and integrity are paramount with this mix of Saturn and Pluto in your chart and business and personal relationships and any kind of contractual agreements can be strengthened or harmed. Any form of dishonesty or duplicity will be your undoing; loser or winner, the choice is yours, but it’s a great outcome if you’re ethical and open. 

Your ruler Mercury is going retrograde in the house of joint funds and so you’ll be dealing more with the resources of others or any joint financial arrangements, taxes, debts, loans and inheritances. The retrograde will slow things down and create SNAFUS and things that you were relying on or that were promised may not occur or at least be put off until mid February. 

With Pluto in the same house for you, any mistakes or earlier agreements will be aired and become more significant and maybe even troubling. 

That said you have a great opportunity to go over old ground and financial things from the past and put them right and the recent new moon in Capricorn gave you the opportunity for a “new start” (although something may need to end in order for that to occur). 

Smart and fortuitous decisions can be made before Monday if you’re audacious.

The recent new moon was in your house of relationships and contractual arrangements and any form of partnerships (business or otherwise) as well as your enemies. This can signify a “new start” or a new era or these are the topic du jour around this time. 

Negotiations and any issues of sharing and agreements can be favorable and it’s also a great time to start a new relationship. Mercury retrograding is going to impact on your relationships as it’s now touring this area of your chart, in Capricorn. 

You may be able to redefine a relationship or a contractual arrangement if you are able to “forgive or forget” or you realize that a relationship is not up to scratch (and there will be a lot of emotional “mixed messages” during this time). Don’t worry if you do end an association, you’ll get another go later on and any said or done will be “undone” and you’ll certainly be raking over any past agreements. 

In general after the dramas of last past, there will be peace and warmth and you’ll have more reason to be optimistic. Neptune has your back all year so anything relating to foreign shores, travel, education and legal matters will be your means of “insight” and reward. 

There have been huge changes, but you know now what works and what doesn’t and who is “for” you and who is “against” you. 

The challenging aspects of Uranus and Pluto will continue and thus your security will remain “uncertain” but this is also a time of great transformation and growth. Revisit the risk of growing and the lobster story (a lobster has to risk its life in order to grow).

You might start a new job this week or go back to work and your working life feels different or “new” and fresh. Or it may be a week you decide to launch into a new health regime or diet, as the Mercury retrograde period is giving you a great opportunity to review your body and how you take care of it. You may have to redo some form of treatment - perhaps health or beauty related that you arranged earlier - or even to have it redone. 

Whilst there are ongoing adjustments occurring in your world, you’ll begin to see that everything is turning out better than you expected and that will do wonders for your self-esteem, love life, relationship with children and any financial dealings. 

You are on a winning streak and you may even win the hand of someone you’ve been pursuing or a job that you’ve applied for at an earlier time. 

There is so much positive focus on your working life, and everyday environment, and so you can expect to see new opportunities about: new job, new business projects, and expansion of existing operations and this may turn out to be a banner year. 

There could be a romantic surprise this week, especially from someone with a different background or a foreigner. If you’re in pursuit of someone (and you often are) before Monday communicate your feelings and make your move. You’re feeling more confident of your success (and with good reason) and if it’s a new business idea or proposal, it’s also a good time to share your plans with prospective partners.

VIRGO 

It’s a good week to kick back and enjoy yourself and rediscover what the word “fun” means for you. There will be more time spent with the younger generation and with a romantic interest and you’ll be the centre off attention within your group. 

With your ruler Mercury retrograding in your house of fun and love, it’s also possible to reconnect or hear from an ex or “enlighten” someone you love or used to love with your thoughts. 

The recent moon in this same area (big focus in your life at present) suggests “expressing yourself” as Madonna would say and enjoying the pleasures of life and finding your personal power. 

Be selfish, self indulgent and self-gratifying and take more risks (or at the very least go outside of your comfort zone). 

If a relationship is unproductive, let it go, but also don’t hesitate to share your opinions. 

Neptune in your relationship house will continue to bring difficulties in your relationships and there will be some family, property or domestic tests and certainly more focus leading into the weekend. 

But you are not taking any shit from anyone at the moment (to put it indelicately) and will push back even harder and you may even cut a tie or at least redefine the boundaries of the association. 

There may be some surprising news relating to joint finances and discussions about possessions and rights, but its more important than ever to prioritize your life and figure out what it is you want to achieve. 

Monday will be tricky and will involve an issue from the past and if any kind of boundary has been breached, this will have financial ramifications.

LIBRA 

Home, family or your domestic scene is unsatisfactory or a source of focus for some reason and maybe the house or it’s facilities are a disappointment or there are some “family issues”. 

Some form of distancing, either from a family member (or you literally leave your home) is a possibility, although the latter although the latter could be relocation, job offer or house sale. 

It’s possible you go to visit family or vice versa during the retrograde period as relatives or home-related issues come back or are “revisited” or an estranged family member may attempt a reconciliation. 

An issue to do with your home that may have been fixed could return as can an old family gripe that needs to be readdressed. Jupiter will be in Libra later on in the year, but in the interim and this week, there may be a surprise or changes and this may be via the discovery of an adversary or a jealous person. There is the specter of betrayal and deception especially if you are relying on others in business and in life especially if you are relying on others around. That said you may feel like a doormat so learn to say no and cut back the time you are spending doing things for others. Face the reality of all situations. 

That said; there are more options this week than you’ve had of late to obtain the outcomes you seek, so don’t avoid commitments or promises, but address issues head on (although you may not see final results until mid February). 

This is a climate of resolution when forgiveness will be sought and many outstanding issues resolved.

For you this current retrograde passage of Mercury will impact on communication and all forms of travel, so expect mistakes in documents, misunderstandings, car trouble, missed and delayed flights and similar trying events. 

Mercury in Capricorn is in your house of communication, siblings and neighbors so you can include your siblings and community in the mix. A brother or sister may get the wrong end of the stick and you have an argument because of mixed messages or you lose a document and there is no copy. 

That said, the recent new moon and this retrograde can also suggest you have a chance to make amends if there has been an earlier falling out and thus be able to renew the relationship before mid February and even until the first week of March. 

If there is something that needs to be said, say it, write it or at least think about what you can do to improve communication. It’s also likely that friends from the past reappear so be proactive in connecting. 

Mars is in Scorpio so you are at the helm of your own life and can steer it accordingly and Saturn is gone for good from Scorpio that brought years of pressure and stress. Life will feel lighter and more personally powerful as you have favorable aspects to Pluto and Neptune and can achieve a lot. Lets face it, you are already loving 2016 in spite of the retrograde as the restrictions are gone!

SAGITTARIUS 

It’s all a bit personal at the moment and someone may appear as an adversary or a thorn in your side. Your comfort or security is being unsettled and you may have to go all the way and show your hand or make a decision and stick to it. 

There is not a lot of peace at the moment, particularly in your money and financial or property related matters. You may have counted your chickens or thought hat something had been successfully dealt with, but then discovered there was a mistake or an oversight to contend with. 

You will be thinking more about material security, possessions, and income as well as your values and your issues relating to your self of self worth may be what is unsettling your peace. 

Try to recognize any messages for what they are and think in terms of solutions rather than ongoing differences of opinion or even some difficult challenge that may have been going on for a while. Neptune continues to bring confusion in a home, family or property matter, and this week there are some hard aspects between Venus in Sagittarius and Jupiter. 

If this argument involves money, the recent new moon in your money house, a line up of planets in Capricorn are all helping you to accrue more money or settle a financial or property dispute. 

A great job offer, raise or promotion is on the cards for some and the ink on the deal may occur in the second half of February or at the latest April.

However Mars in your house of career, public life and success will not allow you to wallow and for all of February and until the first week of March you’ll be more on the front foot, and in the spotlight. Important people will seek you out and rewards and recognition are coming your way. 

There are going to be more time spent with friends, lovers and more fun in general as you have Venus in your social, groups and friendships sector (and VIPS). There is also more opportunities for information sharing (i.e. learning or teaching) and becoming involved in charities and humanitarian causes. 

There are a lot of aspects occurring with the nodes, and this week especially between Venus and the nodes affecting your home environment or career and public self (how you are perceived “out there”) in the world and this is all very favorable. 

You may currently be considering some changes to your home and domestic scene, a flat mate or renovations or selling/buying and this could be because you are contemplating relocating overseas or taking an extended trip. 

Wednesday is tricky as Mercury the planet of communication squares your ruler and you may find misunderstandings to be rife and communication in general more difficult. 

If someone irritates you or you feel disrespected, best not to tell him or her no matter how tempting!

With Mercury retrograding in your friends, groups and VIP sector (along with hopes and wishes) you may revisit some life goals or try and win back a lost love. 

You are likely to hear from old friends you haven’t seen for a while and previous employers or authority figures. In some cases you thought you were “in the clear” but Big Brother is on your heels again. 

An old friend may suggest a business opportunity or else a past employer may be back in touch or a job that you missed out on becomes available due to external circumstances. 

One particular friendship or love affair may be tenuous and you might be estranged and yet they make a big plea or effort to get it back on track. There may be gossip surrounding a personal matter that becomes openly disseminated causing you discomfort and this may be within a community, family or “close environment” situation. It may be a secret that only a handful knew about that is now “out there”. 

By the same token, you will be doing a lot more mixing and socializing and if it’s via work, it will be with influential types, VIPS and power brokers who can offer you lot of support. Others will be “off” travelling to far flung destinations on humanitarian grounds or joining a charity or undertaking volunteer work (and this may be connected to your employment/career). 

Your finances in general are looking robust and you might hear good news this week in this regard (a loan, bonus or a win) as luck abounds and wishes are being granted. 

Alternatively it may be your business partner or life partner who is doing well and this becomes “joint” good fortune as you make plans together.
