As March beings, you have a full moon in your tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement, so it appears you are about to reach a glorious high point in your career at the full moon March 1. Something you did recently is about to bring much adulation, making your status in your industry – and in the world – rocket skyward. You only get one full moon a year in the prestigious tenth house of fame and career success, and this is yours. All full moons have an area of influence of an extra four days, extending this trend to March 1-4.

This full moon is a golden one too, one of the best of 2018. Saturn will be in ideal angle to this full moon, strongly increasing your sense of financial security. You may be given a raise, an offer for a new position, or the green light on a new large project. Or, you may be given a generous one-time sum of money, such as a bonus or commission. The Sun will also receive a boost from Saturn, so a foreign person, company, or country may be involved with happy news. (You alternatively may see help from the media, academia, or the courts and legal system.)

Remarkably, at the same time, as the March opens in the first days, both Venus and Mercury will receive extraordinary positive vibrations from good fortune Jupiter, and this is extra-important because Jupiter is your ruling planet. Whenever your ruling planet is involved, it gives extra weight and benefits to you from a joyous aspect. While everyone, of every sign, will look forward to events going on in the first few days of March, thanks to Venus and Mercury’s perfect signals to Jupiter, you will benefit and enjoy this time even more.

In your solar chart, Venus governs your sixth house of work, so it seems whatever work you are being applauded for as this month opens will likely bring more high-level assignments. Further, your solar eleventh house of hopes and wishes is involved too, and you will love the direction you career will be headed from now on.

As I said above, Venus is not only signaling Jupiter but her brother, Mercury, will ALSO signal Jupiter in an outstanding warm and positive way. Technically this will happen March 2, a perfect day to travel for any reason (but one with profit motive is especially favored), or to sign an important contract or lease. Mercury rules your solar seventh house of partnerships, so someone you will be collaborating with – or are married to, or in the romantic sense – will be especially helpful to you now. Or, in business, this gem-like person might be a middleman, such as a home or job broker, agent, manager, publicist, lawyer, or even a doctor.

As you begin the month, Mars, the energy planet, will still be in Sagittarius, a fantastic privilege you’ve had since January 26. Mars is about to exit its tour of your sign on March 17, but while you have Mars to yourself, make an appointment see anyone who will see you who can help you. Present your ideas immediately. Projects you begin when Mars is in your sign have a far greater than usual chance of success, so you must act with a sense of purpose. While not all the new projects you propose and do will grow into tall oak trees, many more than usual will. The reason is that you will show courage, energy, and drive, and influential people will be impressed with your passion and want to follow you wherever you go.

As exciting as your career is going, it looks like your home is also generating lots of excitement, too. You have a gathering of four heavenly bodies in your fourth house of home as you begin the month, including the Sun, Neptune, Mercury, and Venus. Venus will remain in Pisces in the first five days of March, considered the very best places for Venus to be, for in Pisces Venus will express her greatest gifts of love and beauty while there. Venus will move into Aries on March 6, to stay until March 30.

Aries is a good place for Venus to be for you, as it is a fire sign like your Sagittarius Sun – more about that later.

I know have been relentless about telling you to get flood insurance over recent months, but this month you really do have to listen to me. Quickly call your insurance broker to line up a policy because among a number of planets in Pisces marching through your home sector will be Father Neptune, who will want to enter and bring the sea with him. Neptune can cause any kind of water damage, from drinking water to flooding your basement, to mold, to too much heavy snow on the roof, and more. Because Neptune is not leaving Pisces anytime soon – not until 2026 – you do have to get this insurance now. If you have home owners or renters insurance, be aware most do not cover water damage, so check on that with your broker immediately.

It seems you have a big home-related project on your list, and it may have lagged because you didn’t have the right time to start. Now you will have so many planets in the universe to help you. On March 11, Pluto, a big money planet, will help you find the funds you need. This day is a Sunday, so apply for funds on March 12 or 13.

The perfect time to move ahead on home- or family-related matters will be just after the beautiful new moon appears in Pisces, March 17.

March 13 will be an outstanding day, a four-star day, when Jupiter and the Sun will be in sync. This will be an ideal day for a confidential meeting, for lucky Jupiter will be in your twelfth sector that denotes under-the-radar, secret meetings that you need not tell anyone about. Again, foreign people and places, or distinguished professionals such as from academia, the courts, diplomacy, or the media may figure prominently in what you choose to do on this day. This list of possibilities will reactivate as soon as the glorious new moon appears too on March 17. Here I will show you why.

The perfect time to move ahead on home-or-family-related matters will be just after the beautiful new moon appears in Pisces, March 17. All new moons open a portal of two weeks, and the seeds you sow then will have the power to influence your entire year to come, until the next new moon appears in your fourth house of home. We only get one new moon a year in this part of our chart.

If you need to buy, sell, renovate, do repairs, build a new house, or hire contractors, a gardener, landscaper, architect, or decorator, this new moon on March 17 will bring you an array of options. I love this new moon because it is the only one I have seen that brings shimmering vibrations from Jupiter, the planet of happiness, expansion, and good fortune, to the Sun and new moon.

If you want to make design choices, you can do so after March 17, but I would prefer that you do so in the first six days of March, while Venus is still in Pisces. This includes paint colors, surfaces and floors, tiles, fabrics, and other lovely choices you may be making for your home.

This new moon path of opportunity will coincide with an approaching Mercury retrograde period, March 22 to April 15. While it is usually never a good idea to make major decisions while Mercury is retrograde, there are some possibilities here. For example, if you made a bid on a house you loved that you did not win, the owners may come back to you to bid again. Perhaps the winner of that bid could not get a mortgage, and perhaps the owners liked you better anyway. Or, let’s say you began a project but became too busy to finish it, and so you put it aside. Now you may come back to do the job, and if so, you have the ideal time to get it done in beautiful form.

I still won’t let you buy electronics like a new TV, sound system, expensive headphones, kitchen appliances, or any other electronic item (including an automobile) or machine with moving parts such as a vacuum cleaner or sewing machine while Mercury is out of phase. You either should buy such items as a new mattress – if you need one – early in the month or wait until the second half of April to do so. When Mercury retrogrades, it is common for the contractor’s workmen to find problems that need to be fixed that were not anticipated at the time of the bid.

I might as well drop the other shoe because when Mars tours Capricorn, you will see your costs rise, for Mars will be zooming through your solar second house of earned income. This happens to everyone, and because I see you might be in the process of lifestyle changes, it is very possible you will be putting costs and overages on your credit cards or withdrawing money from your savings. This is another reason why you might want to hold off on big-ticket purchases of electronics and machines anyway during Mercury retrograde (March 22 to April 15) until you see how costs are going. It really is not a good time to shop for these items.

I also feel that with Mercury retrograde in your creative sector, you might be working on a creative project that will need more time and money than you originally estimated. This happens to the best of us, dear Sagittarius. The good part about these phases is that you will have the time to polish your project and make it even better – it could become a jewel in your crown.

Now let’s turn to love. When it comes to romance, this month could have many special moments. First, you have Mars in Sagittarius from the very start of the month until March 17. This will give you presence and allure, and you won’t feel invisible (if you ever did). Quite the contrary – you will be able to turn heads, for having Mars in your sign gives confidence and magnetism.

There is more! Venus will move into Aries on March 6 until March 30 to help love along by coaxing you to be your charming best. No matter if you are attached or single, these two planets, Mars and Venus, will be in the ideal position in March to help you enjoy life. Your sense of humor will be evident, and your warmth and enjoyment of others will make them want to follow you.

Mars and Venus are a classic combination in astrology, meant to set off sparks of new love or to fan the fires of existing love. The fact that both love planets, Venus and Mars, will be favoring you in March is a heavenly situation, so take full advantage and circulate more. During the times that both Mars and Venus overlap this month – when Mars is still in Sagittarius and at the same time, Venus in good-for-you Aries from March 6 to March 17 – you will have some of your most fun. It is also the time to buy new clothes and do things to improve your appearance, for if you act at this time, you will love the results.

Here is one extra day to add to the special romantic period discussed above: Wednesday, March 28, when Venus will be conjunct Uranus in Aries in your fifth house of true love. Circle it in red! Cupid and his little fleet of angels will be playful on this day, so expect the unexpected!

The old saying that March either enters the month like a lion and leaves like a lamb or vice versa will prove true this month, but the other way around. This month will enter like a lamb but leave like a lion with a difficult full moon in Libra 10 degrees, March 31.

This full moon will light your house of friendship and groups, so you may be attending a party or be in charge of giving one for yourself or someone else, and it seems to be a complex task. Something about this full moon is heavy in mood or responsibility-laden. At this time you appear to be near a large group of people.

As one example, you may learn that you need to help a friend who is going through a very rough patch, or in a very different manifestation, find that you need to quickly distance yourself from a friend who will upset you or even betray. You may give money to a friend who needs it, or disagree with a friend over a financial matter. Saturn and Mars will be traveling together in Capricorn at the time in your second house of personal finances and each planet will send a 90-degree square to the full moon in Libra and to the Sun in Aries in your fifth house of love. This is not helpful to either engender love or friendship. Regarding children, also covered by the fifth house, you may need to write a large check for the benefit of a child, which you would want to do.

As said, this is a difficult full moon, so there are some other possible problems. Because the Sun is involved, you may also encounter problems with ninth house matters. One of these areas may also come up for discussion and bring difficulties such as with long-distance travel or with a person abroad, a legal case, or a media or academic critic. Not all these areas will concern you but one might take your attention. Ah, life can be this way at times, but you won’t be singled out – every sign will feel the pressure. Luckily a full moon delivers its news, brings closure, and you will move on.

I have a friend who keeps saying to me, “If the problem is money, it is not a problem. Put this in perspective, Susan – there are worse things in life, and with money a concern, one way or another, you can fix it.” I laughed and said to her that it was easy for her to say that because she is rich.
