With four heavenly bodies filling your fifth house of true love, it's time to play. You've had some spectacular career aspects in recent months, and those will continue to keep your name on the big marquee through early September. You won't lose any momentum by stepping off the treadmill of living and giving yourself a little break. If you want to take a little vacation this month, you can, especially from April 7 onward.

Before you and I get into the topic of romance, I would like to touch on the topic of your career, and also on money. The very same aspects that are encouraging your dating life for fun, love, an emphasis on children, and leisure time activities, including a vacation, will also brighten your originality and creativity. This month, with the new moon SO close to Uranus, you may find the surprises wonderful or too much to handle. There's no way to judge way things will go, for aspects are mixed, and also with Uranus, there's always a result you'd never expect, for it brings up circumstances that are unusual or random in some way.

I like that Mars, now in Sagittarius, is within ten degrees of a lovely "trine" (from the word triangle, denoting a heavenly aspect). This will help a great deal to keep this new moon positive and to provide a good outlook for your future. Also, best of all, Saturn will be in good angle to the Sun at the time of the new moon April 7, lending a feeling of rock-solid security, and will give you a reason to think long term.

Promises made will be promises kept, especially on April 5, when the Sun and Saturn will be perfectly angled. Distant travel would be lots of fun on this day, as well, and if you have to take a business trip on this day, you are likely to come back with the order. The new moon of April 7 will also underscore these trends, making the start of the month quite wonderful. Nothing puts a smile on your face faster than the prospect of taking a distant trip!

Mars will make you sexy and attractive to others. Also, on April 12, Venus, now in Aries in your house of true love, will reach out in perfect mathematical alignment to Mars. What a sexy aspect! You have another day that will merit a blue ribbon for love, and that will be when Venus in Aries in your fifth house of true love will conjoin Uranus on April 22. This is also the full moon weekend, heightening emotions even more. This is another memorable, highly romantic day.

If your birthday falls on December 9, plus or minus five days, you will feel the effects of the full moon the most. The same would be true if you have Sagittarius rising at 18 degrees (plus or minus five degrees, or if you have a natal planet at 18 degrees (within five degrees) of Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, or Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius.

I am a bit concerned because this new moon of April 7 will be in hard angle to Pluto, in your second house of earned income. You may find that someone is trying to extract money from you (could be the tax man, as Pluto is connected to taxes) or for expenses associated with socializing, such as the need to be a member of a friend or family's destination wedding, could prove costly. If a lover wants money from you, don't hand it over. Pluto can have a dark side, so you may never see that money again, no matter what promises are made. If you don't know the person well, your love may be trying to manipulate you.

Money for a creative project appears to be at odds with the new moon April 7. Whatever comes up might take time to sort out. By May, five out of eight planets in your chart will be retrograde at some points in the month: Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto. In terms of planets retrograde, we notice the effects of ones that orbit closest to earth - those would be Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Venus won't retrograde until March 4, 2017 to April 14, 2017, but both Mars and Mercury will be out of phase starting this month.

Mars is the energizer planet - it helps us compete by giving us over-the-top determination and drive. It gives us courage, confidence, and a sexy aura too. When you launch a product or service when Mars is retrograde, however, it simply does not do well - in fact, it might well fall flat. You need to have a strong edge with competitors to launch something new, or they will be so aggressive, they will eat your lunch.

If you simply HAVE to launch something during Mars retrograde (April 17 to June 29), you will have to supply the bountiful energy that Mars is lacking, which is a yeoman's task. Mars also rules all sharp instruments, including the surgeon's scalpel, so surgery or any cutting at all would come under Mars. This is why if you have elective surgery, you would be best to wait until Mars moves direct by July and August. If you need urgent surgery, do it now. We cannot control everything in life, dear Sagittarius. Mars will retrograde from April 17 to June 29.
