Aries Forecast for September 2015

The season is about to change, and there is a mood of excitement in the air. September has remarkably good aspects, even though Mercury will be retrograde from September 17 to October 9. Don't let that stop your enthusiasm, dear Aries. You can accomplish so much because the other little planets are in such a loving mood.

As you enter September, you've just had a full moon on August 29, so you may be wrapping up a project. Hopefully, you can take a deep breath, stretch out your arms, and relax just a little. You seem to have pleased higher ups, because Pluto was in perfect angle to the Sun and Jupiter, and although the mathematics is wide and a little loose, Pluto is close enough for you to have made an impression, original and imaginative. That full moon had lit your twelfth house of privacy and conjunct Neptune, so as you enter September, take it slow.

Neptune is urging you to daydream and to think outside normal parameters. If you think daydreaming is a waste of time, think again. If you can visualize a solution to a creative problem, you are more likely to find an answer. Go a step farther and visualize your future as far as your next birthday or beyond. You have such darling aspects that you may be surprised to see how well things go. Jupiter will still be very close to the Sun and help you think big.

If you are unemployed and hope to pick up part-time or permanent work, or if self-employed would like to pick up business, this full moon and several days in September would be ideal for finding work or for bringing in new business. Any project you take on would bring you in contact with very successful people, and the budget would be large.

One change this month that will help your career is the change of Pluto to go direct at long last. Pluto has been lagging in retrograde for five months, since April 16. Now, on September 25, Pluto will move ahead and push your professional interests forward. Watch carefully for clues in the days that span from September 22 to 28, when Pluto will be stationary and send you a subtle clue of what will come next.

Romantically, as you start September, you are so lucky to have Venus and Mars in conjunction on September 1-2, an aspect known to bring the spark of love between two people who belong together. Venus and Mars are in Leo and meeting in your house of true love. How lucky can you get? Promise me you'll be out and about and see what surprises Cupid has for you. Of all the signs, this lovely conjunction will be best for Aries. If you are already attached, find ways to celebrate your love, but don't make it any old day - make it special.

Wait, it gets better! Venus has been retrograde since July 25 and in a weak state, but will turn around to go direct on Sunday, September 6, which in the US will be the Labor Day weekend. Finally, Venus will grow stronger. Love will have its best chance ever to stick and become solid. I feel that September 1-2 would be fine to meet someone, even though technically Venus will still be retrograde for the first few days of September. In September's first week, Venus will be what astrologers call "stationary." When a planet is stationary, it is changing its internal gears from retrograde to direct (or vice versa) and summoning all its internal energy to make that happen. It will remain at the same degree for days. These are very powerful periods, and I will always point them out to you. Big, outer planets have even more effect during these stationary periods.

Next, your best day for finding someone new to love, or to bond closer to your present partner will be September 8 when Mars (energy) in Leo will be orbiting in your fifth house of true love in close proximity to Venus (romance) in Leo (your best sign for love). Mars will reach out to Uranus (surprise) in Aries, the most harmonious, sparkling aspect you could wish to happen! You must put a gold start on September 8!

The opportunity to find love will continue with one more day, September 22, when love-planet Venus in Leo will receive an electric beam from Uranus in Aries. What a great day! Again, the universe will be working hard to bring you the love you have always wanted, a person who appreciates you for who you are. Be out and about, and even if you are doing routine things, look your very best. With unpredictable Uranus, so sweetly conversant with Venus, you may get hit by a thunderbolt when your eyes meet. Don't think I have an unending supply of love aspects for you, dear Aries. Last month and this month is remarkable. You are very fortunate now!

If you have been waiting to make a big change in your appearance but have been wisely holding back because Venus has been retrograde, you can do so a day or two after Venus goes direct.

Keep in mind that almost concurrently, Mercury will be retrograde starting September 17 to October 9, so you wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on a salon or barbershop treatment. If you want to go shopping for clothes, wait until Venus goes direct. (I lost my sunglasses but won't buy a new pair until after Venus regulates - anything having to do with your face requires a good, strong Venus.) You can purchase wardrobe items to wear while Mercury is out of phase, but you need to keep the receipts in an envelope in your desk. You may need to exchange the piece for another size or you may completely change your mind about wanting the item and then choose another. This is why you should not cut off the tags too early this month!

The category of products you absolutely cannot buy during Mercury retrograde is electronics. If you need a computer, smart phone, television, music speakers, automobile, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, sewing machine, lawn mower, dishwasher, or any other machine with moving parts or electronics, you need to wait until the end of October, even though Mercury will go direct October 9. Mercury will not reach its former strength and speed until October 27. Or, act now, during the first ten days of September. You can buy machines during Venus retrograde. (I know, this gets complicated, doesn't it? That's why I have to watch the whole sky for you, not only one piece of it.)

We are now in eclipse season, so we have two eclipses this month. This is the big news of the month!

The first eclipse will arrive on September 12-13 in Virgo at 20 degrees, to create positive changes in your workplace or having to do with a major project you are involved in. Although the sixth house, where this eclipse will fall, covers your work, it does not cover your reputation or a promotion. If you change jobs when you have lots of activity in the sixth house, you would be making a lateral move to a job similar to the one you had before. This may be fine with you, but it's good to know.

I have a close friend who was not happy with the way her career was going. She was always disappointed with her new job as she felt she was always at the same level, simply treading water. I told my friend that when she changed jobs based on sixth house activity, she would always feel that way. She said, "I never did that. I thought I was moving on tenth house (indicating higher status) activity." She wasn't. When we looked at all the dates she had changed jobs, they were all dates that emphasized her sixth house. Once she stopped doing that and started listening to me, her career sped forward.

For you, you will have your big opportunity to make a big advance up the ladder of success after the new moon on January 9, 2016. However, for now, you may be happy to change jobs for one similar to the one you had, and if so, it is fine to proceed with the interview process. You will get other chances to move up prior to January, but that month will give you your big break. This month, with Pluto moving direct on September 25, should help you advance, as a case in point, and help you make small, but steady progress.

This new moon solar eclipse, September 12-13, will be a happy one. Pluto, now in your house of honors, awards, and achievement will send this eclipse a cheerful beam. Pluto's position suggests you may get help from a high-level executive at eclipse time. Saturn will offer a stabilizing vibration to all you do too, so this is a very positive new moon eclipse. I feel you will see changes in your physical office when management spruces things up, or you may see sudden personnel changes. Someone close to you may quit, but at the same time, you may get news you are ready to hire another person. Or, you may get new computer software or other gadgets to make you more efficient. A new project is a very probable outcome, and it seems you will love it, because it will be one that will allow you to showcase your talents.

This same new moon eclipse, September 12-13, could bring encouraging news about your health too. Almost all new moon eclipses open doors to a new opportunities - some so new you could not have imagined that this new element would be presented to you. You may see a new doctor that you are enthusiastic about, and who is able to correctly diagnose your condition, and who has ideas about how to treat it. If you feel fine, you may take up a new sport or join a new class at the gym, and you are likely to love it. Virgo is all about natural and organic foods, so you may streamline your diet to eliminate parts that you feel are harmful to you, or you may take up meditation, yoga, or Pilates. You get the idea - this new moon will boost your health if you take the time to research the right course for you.

All these elements - emphasis on work, co-workers and subordinates, new projects, and new ideas to improve your health - will be given a big boost when your ruler moves into Virgo on September 24. Your ruler, in your case, Mars, will always show me where your attention will be directed, so Mars will enlarge all the discussions that come up and carry them forward until at least November 12. After that, other parts of your life will distract you. If making a success of your work is important to you, use this period to the max.

The month's second eclipse will be a full moon lunar eclipse, September 27, in Aries 5 degrees, and will emphasize your relationship with your closest partner, in love or business. All full moon eclipses are more emotional in nature, for they bring end points or relationships / events to culmination. Most eclipses bring to the surface information you did not have previously, and keep in mind you may just as likely hear good news, not necessary tension-producing news. This eclipse is in beautiful angle to Saturn, so again, this planet of long-term growth and permanence will help to solidify your movements.

Any news you receive will be meant to protect you, so even if at first the news surprises you or upsets you (highly unlikely), the job of an eclipse is to floodlight a situation with full disclosure and truth. At other times at the time of an eclipse, someone who is important to us leave our direct environment. A collaborator or business partner may be "eclipsed out" of your direct environment, often quite suddenly, as one of many possible examples.

There is nothing to fear in terms of changes it will bring, as Saturn is standing by to help you and keep you grounded. It seems you will have something to talk about with your partner, and depending on how things have been going all along up to now, you may feel that you want to go ahead with new plans together, or if you have not been happy, to part. If you don't have a partner, or even if you do, an eclipse might point out a health concern that should be checked out.

If your birthday falls on March 25, plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse the most dramatically because the mathematical degrees of the eclipse oppose your birthday Sun. If you have a copy of your natal chart, see if you have any natal planets in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, or Aquarius within five degrees of 5 degrees - if so you will benefit from this eclipse, for those planets will be in friendly angle to it.

No matter when your birthday falls, make sure your schedule is elastic near both September 12-13 and September 27, because both dates will be important for you. You may be called on to turn on a dime and complete tasks that you had not anticipated, or talk about an issue that may come up out of the blue.

Venus and Mars, considered the cosmic lovers when together, will make a rare link in the velvet blue night sky in Leo on September 1-2, possibly marking a momentous occasion for you. Mars has been chasing Venus around the twelve constellations since these two sweethearts last met - these are the cosmic lovers, so they adore being together. They are planning their rendezvous in your fifth house of true love as soon as September takes off. This is no small event - the last time next these two planets linked in your solar house of true love, it was June 23, 1991, and the next time in the future will be July 13, 2021. With your ruler, Mars, in this part of your chart ruling love, you will feel motivated and eager to meet new people. The fact that Venus will be with Mars means this is all much stronger. Your name will be written all over this aspect.

If you are single, make it a point to be out circulating that evening. If you are attached, make that night your night to celebrate your love. This will be a Tuesday, but perhaps you can leave the office early. Choose a beautiful restaurant to meet your spouse, or if not married, your long-term lover. You have the option of cooking up a special dish at home, and if you do, add flowers, candles, and music. This would also be an ideal time to scoot away for a quick holiday. At the end of last month, August 26-31, you may have started to feel the glow of these two planets as they moved closer, and excitement will continue to build as you get to September 1-2.

By September 6, after weeks of being retrograde, Venus will go direct. If you want to make any changes to your face or hairstyle, or to buy new sunglasses or reading glasses, this would be the time to do it - after September 6. You can give a party now, or buy expensive jewelry. In fact, you can get engaged or married, knowing Venus will be in strong shape for you.

If you are single, it appears you'll meet that special someone at a party, other gathering, museum or gallery exhibit, concert or other artistic presentation, on vacation at a nearby resort, or through a friend's introduction. Another spectacular day will be September 8 when Mars and Uranus will be beautifully oriented, just for you.

Another special day to meet someone outstanding will be September 22 when Venus will flirt with Uranus in Aries. Go to a party, go shopping, have a spa treatment - have fun. You might meet someone if you are open to making a new association.

Meanwhile, at the office, you are seeing changes, but practically all of them should work to your advantage. Your physical workspace may be upgraded, or you may get new computer equipment or software. If you need to hire a staff member, you'll have a choice of excellent candidates. Are you in a creative field? If so, you seem to be ready to show and ship your project as the month starts, and you will receive considerable praise from your client or boss - more than you assumed possible. Watch for co-workers to come and go too. All this emphasis on your work life will be bubbling up as you begin September, but will become more evident after the friendly solar eclipse, a new moon that will appear in Virgo on September 12-13. The eclipse may bring a health matter to your attention, but if so, with a little research, you should be able to find the right medical practitioner to help you. In particular, watch your digestive tract (intestines), as Virgo rules this part of your body. With Jupiter now in Virgo, you have the best chance you've had in a long time to find relief. Jupiter is now in your solar sixth house and is also the finest place possible to lose weight and become sleek, if that is a goal. Jupiter has not been in this part of your chart since August 2003 to September 2004.

Mars will take all these topics listed above, and brought up by the eclipse of September 12-13, and advance one or more of them to a higher level, from September 24 to November 12. You can make solid progress now, dear Aries.

A second eclipse, a total lunar eclipse (a potent full moon) will occur in Aries on September 27.

A close relationship (romantic or business) may reach an important turning point, where you come closer, or realize it's time to part. Concurrently, your view of yourself - said another way, your identity - now may undergo a transformation. You may change your name or make dramatic changes in your looks - even your lifestyle.
