Capricorn Forecast for September 2015

You've had a long stretch of busy months, going back to April, when your career and home living situation both needed a lot of your attention. This will be true again in October too, so you'd be wise to stop in September to take a vacation. If that were impossible, try for a long weekend away, for being in a new setting would do wonders for you.

Eclipse season is back, and this month we have two, the first, in Virgo, 20 degrees, on September 12-13. The news it will deliver appears to be an exciting, happy one for you, for it will open up an impressive opportunity for you. Earth sign Virgo blends beautifully with your earth sign Capricorn Sun, so you will benefit from news that comes in just after that eclipse arrives. A solar eclipse, like this one, is always a new moon and will always open a new path, one that did not exist before. Or, if you have a major deal pending that, for some reason, languished - it will jump to life after that eclipse arrives.

From this September 12-13 eclipse will see enormous emphasis on your ninth house, which covers a wide variety of subjects in life, and I will list them. Each involves an intellectual, conceptual topic, and each requires lots of preparation for the goal to go through. You have never turned from detail or hard work, so I am confident you will be eager to see an opportunity that comes up through to the finish line. Look at the following list carefully, as one area will suddenly jump to life after September 12-13.

Keep this list in mind, for it will be important not only this month but for months to come! Your ninth house rules international trade or exchange of information overseas, foreign people and places, publishing and broadcasting projects, all efforts having to do with your desire to attain an advanced university degree (or to teach as a professor), or to establish your credentials in a field, such as law or medicine. This is also the house of the legal system and the courts, whether to settle a dispute or to make an important filing of a trademark, copyright, or patent. An immigration matter including passport, visa, or green card are covered in the ninth house, as well as philosophical or spiritual topics or discussions about religious dogma, and includes prayer retreats, or even the major decision to go into the order of the religious, such as to join a convent. Whatever is going on in your life seems to be weighty and capable of changing your life for the better, forever.

Last month, Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, entered this same ninth house area to stay for the coming twelve months. In that time, Jupiter will be working hard to expand your personal growth in one of the areas listed. As you see, this is no short trend - Jupiter will remain in this house until September 9, 2016 next year. The fact that the most generous, expansive planet of our solar system will occupy your ninth house is significant.

Jupiter has been associated with miracles, so if you passionately want to attend college, for example, try for your favorite institution along with your application for more "safe" colleges your guidance counselor feels you can get into. Jupiter will open the door, but also often provide the means for you to take advantage of all that is being offered. In other words, you may also get a scholarship or generous financial aid to allow you to go to college. There are many possibilities, but you get the idea. This applies to ALL the matters listed under your ninth house - choose the goal most important to you.

What is remarkable is that, at the same time, you have a series of eclipses to fall in this very same ninth house to ensure massive change and opportunity comes now, not in some fuzzy distant future. This shows you will have long-term emphasis here - events will NOT signify a quick flash in the pan but an enduring trend that you will be dealing with a long time and that can bolster the entire structure of your life.

New moon solar eclipses are like three new moons rolled into one, and they open doors to new paths. They are not emotional like full moon lunar eclipses, so generally, we all love the arrival of solar eclipses, especially when they are well aspected as this one will be for you. Saturn, your ruling planet (that's significant), will be taking especially good care of you in the days that follow September 13. You won't likely feel anything at all prior to September 13 - the eclipse has to appear first.

If your birthday falls on January 10, plus or minus five days, you will benefit in a very obvious way from the September 12-13 eclipse. If you have a natal planet within five degrees of 20 degrees of Capricorn, Virgo, or Taurus, or in Pisces, Scorpio, or Cancer, similarly, that particular natal planet of yours will be accented and bring you luck. In that case, it may be in a different area of life, but nevertheless, you will hear good news regarding where that planet is located in your chart. You don't have to know for sure now - just write a note to yourself on your calendar afterward when you do know so that you can refer back later. Something that is happening now on September 13 may refer to a decision or discussion you had back on March 20, the first eclipse in this family of signs.

In case you don't get the message that your ninth house will be lit up like Times Square this month, Mars is on a journey through space to reach this same ninth house of yours. Incredibly, this will be the first time in two years Mars will have occupied this house. Mars is due to arrive on September 24, to stay until November 12.

Mars' job is to bring enormous energy to an area of the chart, in this case, the same ninth house area of international travel and relationships; publishing and broadcasting; academic pursuits; spiritual and religious matters; immigration issues and those involving passport, visa, and green card, as well as legal matters and the courts system. One of these areas will represent considerable luck for you and likely progress very soon.

I say this because Saturn will be so beautifully angled to this eclipse. Pluto in Capricorn will be close enough to bring the power of transformation. This is no small trend - this all can be life changing.

When it comes to your career, you may see a glitch or two that you will have to work through this month. Mercury will retrograde from September 17 to October 9 in your most prestigious career sector, your tenth house. During this time, you will find it harder to get approvals and almost impossible to move forward assertively, nor should that be your goal. Delays will benefit you. Under no circumstances press against the slowdowns that you encounter - it is there for a reason, to give you time to deliberate your approach and to see if you can find a better method to approach a current deal or important project on your desk.

During this same period that Mercury will be retrograde (September 17 to October 9), do not buy any new electronic items, and refrain from buying a car, kitchen appliance, or any machine with moving parts. Do not make any commitments or sign any contracts during the retrograde.

With eclipse season in place, and so much going on in various areas of your life, let the dust settle before you make any life decisions. The new moon of October 12 will be difficult one, and it will affect your career, so you will need to carefully test the ground that you are walking on to be sure it is firm. Build an airtight strategy, and make sure all your facts are meticulously accurate. I am not saying that things won't work out in your career - they can - but you will have to remain alert and be ready to stand up for yourself if your idea or method is challenged on any level. Rushing any talks this month would be the very worst approach to take. As it has been said, God is in the details, so slow down and analyze every tiny point to make sure each one will work to your favor.

The month's second eclipse will fall in Aries, 6 degrees, on September 27. This eclipse will bring up a familiar area of focus - your home and family. Over the past two years, you have had a number of eclipses in Aries and Libra, the reason your home or family situation has been in flux. This eclipse will affect those born in the last week of December the most. Fortunately, this eclipse will also be bolstered by Saturn, your steadfast guardian planet. Although this eclipse will bring something to fullness or climax, the end result will benefit you. Afterward, you will feel more settled and secure. You may need a little distance from the eclipse to see the truth in what I have just said, but with your fine aspects, I am confident you will feel this way.

Financially, your outlook for making more money is strong, especially if you work on commission, royalty, or bonus basis. Your expenses currently appear to be high, but you will have more money coming in. If you need money to buy a home (a mortgage) or hope to refinance your home, September 8 and 22 will be your best days this month. You may be surprised at the positive response you get from your banker. If you already put in an application September 8 and are awaiting word, remain optimistic.

Pluto in Capricorn has been retrograde since April 17 but will turn direct on September 25. This should release you from certain financial blockages in talks. Although Mercury retrograde won't be helping this month, you should see a more fluid situation as you proceed in talks with bankers, venture capitalists, clients, and other financial types. When any planet turns from retrograde to direct, it temporarily adopts a stationary position in the heavens where the planet is summoning all its inner strength to make a U-turn and go in the opposite direction. These are considered highly powerful periods.

Here is a case in point. I'd like you to watch September 22 to September 28, the days Pluto will remain stationary, to watch for a subtle clue to come up. That clue will show you which direction or in which way Pluto will now help you to go. The clue will be there, and although you may find it easy to see, it is just as likely that you may have to look closely if the planet is being subtle.

Romantically, this won't be a big month, but travel will make you so happy that if you can go out of town with your partner, it will help your relationship. Travel to a resort will also help you be open to new people. With Venus and Mars so close in Leo, you will have a certain sexy charm that others will notice. Happily, Venus is now moving direct again (that changed September 6), so you now have a better chance than you have had since July 26 - the date Venus first went retrograde - to enjoy love.

Whenever Venus was retrograde, life likely seemed a bit no-frills and dreary. Affection seems to have been lacking, so you may have just followed along on a Spartan lifestyle. Now all that changes and pampering, luxury, and fun will be back! Love will be in the air, and this is especially true for you, as you have Taurus, ruled by Venus, on your cusp of your fifth house of true love. In short, you can enjoy the frosting on the cake of life again, and that's always a big plus! Venus won't retrograde again until March 2017, so you have a wide-open road ahead! Yay!

Summary

You are excited about taking off on your magic carpet to experience the sounds, tastes, colors, and scents of new cities, towns, and hamlets, very possibly based abroad. You may have started to travel in late August, and as September dawns, you see no reason to stop and return home - not yet anyway. You are under superb planetary vibrations for all topics international. You may be getting ready to study abroad, or may be applying for a grant to conduct a research project in a foreign country. If you are dealing with an immigration issue, such as for a visa, green card, or passport, you are closer to success than you may have assumed.

You are not likely to turn your attention away from this glorious trend anytime soon, for the solar eclipse, September 12-13, is likely to set in place more opportunities for you to travel and meet people with backgrounds different from your own in the weeks and months ahead. With Pluto, the Great Transformer, in ideal angle to this solar eclipse, get set to be changed in a positive way by all you experience. If you simply can't get away, foreign people may be on the phone with you a great deal in coming weeks as you work on a project together. Or you may be hosting executives from abroad in your city, and if so, your time with them will be fun, and broadening too.

A publishing or broadcasting project may go exceedingly well and receive the green light from higher-ups that you had long awaited. If you teach or work in a university, or are a student at one, your goals for a higher education will advance smoothly now, quite joyfully. The area of your chart so lit up is an intellectual one, so the idea of getting your mind trained in new topics is exciting to you, and rightly so.

Financially, good news may come to you on September 1, when Venus and Mars combine forces in your eighth house of money.

If you are in the real estate market, you will have a superb day to buy, sell, lease, or renovate property on September 8. If you need a mortgage, or want to refinance one, all will go well if you apply on this same day.

Mercury's turn to retrograde on September 17 until October 9 will slow down your progress on various fronts. Put off signing papers within this period, and don't purchase electronic products until mid-to-late October. You will start to see the coming mix-ups and lapses of judgment (yours, and that of others, so typical of a Mercury retrograde period) as soon as September begins, so be careful in dealings even prior to September 17. This time Mercury will retrograde in Libra and your tenth house of career, so expect your career to be the main area where you see delays, backtracking, and postponements. It would be best during this period to focus on projects you finished that still can be polished, or long-term business relationships that can be renewed and strengthened by face-to-face meetings.

Over the past several years, Capricorns have been nearly forced to focus on home, and many moved more than once. Now a total eclipse of the moon in Aries, due September 27, will again bring changes in your home and family life. You may be moving on this date, or seeing a renovation or repair project finish.
